This... well, it was pretty mean. You gave in to peer pressure, and you're kinda forcing your opinion. The thing is, Guitar Hero games are simulations. You say there's no real acheivment? They create tournaments for large sums of cash, actually. And the thing is, Guitar Hero and Real Guitars are one in the same. The object is not getting some big cash prize, but instead about having fun.

Thinking Guitar Hero is dumb is like saying this: "Stop Playing Mega Man and make a fighting robot that combats other robots in order to save the world." Or saying this: "Stop playing Grand Theft Auto and hijack an actual car!" Video games are made for fun. But, if you can't accept that, then that's too bad.
